Ingredients Each Character Needs to Collect

Setup

1.Each player chooses a color, then takes 2 character cards and a board piece of the same color. Stack the character cards so that the level I transformation faces upward on the top. Shuffle all the cards face down, excluding the unused character cards, and deal 4 cards to each player. Should a player get more than 3 potion cards, that player must return their cards to the pile, shuffle, and get 4 new cards. All players must place their cards face up on the table so other players can see them.

2.Unfold the game board. Place 3 cards facing up for each square of the woods. For a 2 player game, place 2 cards each instead.

3.Place all player's board pieces in the village and determine the play order among the players.

Movement on the Board

image02_En.png

If a player uses a number 4 card on square ⑤ while moving right:
â‘¥→⑦→â‘¥→⑤

If a player uses a number 3 card on square â‘¡ while moving left:
â‘ →Village→â‘

Make the board pieces face the direction they were moving when placing them.

Spending a Turn

A turn consists of 4 actions, each resolving in the order listed below.

1.The player may further the progress of their transformation by 1 level. Change the card facing up on the character card stack according to the character's transformation progress. When leveling up to II from I, the player's maximum number of cards decreases by 1, so the player must discard 1 card.

2. The player may revert the progress of their transformation by 1 level using 1 potion.

3. The player must use an ingredient card or a number card to move across the board. When using a number card, the player must choose one number written on the card they use. If a player does not have a card to use on movement, they move one square without using a card.

4.The player may choose one of the two options below.

  •  The player may take as many cards as they want from the square they are on. If the player's transformation progress is at level I and stops on square 7 or passes it, they may choose from the discard pile instead of their current square. The player cannot take cards if their hand is full.

  • If there is another player with the same or lower transformation progress in the same square, the player may take a random card (shuffle the cards face down) from the other player. After this, if the player still has room in their hand, they may take more cards from the square they are on.

Discard all cards that have been used. If the card pile is empty, shuffle the discard pile and use them as a new card pile.

Unique Traits for Each Transformation Progress

â…

  • The player may have up to 4 cards in their hand.

  • When stopping on or passing square 7(the square with the altar), they may take cards from the discard pile.

â…¡

  • When moving their board piece using a card, the player may move one more square.

â…¢

  • Other players with lower transformation progress cannot pass through the player's square and must stop on the same square.

â…£

  • This trait may be used once before or after each movement. The player can pick a square adjacent to their square, then progress or revert the transformation of all players in that square by 1 level.

Whenever a Player Passes through the Village

1.Refill all card stacks of each square up to 3 (2 if it's a 2 player game) using the topmost cards from the card pile.

2.If a player stops on top of the village, the player may choose to store one card. The stored card should be placed face down horizontally in front of them. This card is not treated as a card in their hand and cannot be used nor taken

3.The player that stops or passes through the village must fill up their hand with cards dealt from the card pile.

Game End

If a player stops at the village with all ingredients they need to collect, including their stored card, they win the game.

A player with a level I transformation progress needs each of the 2 ingredients, while II, III, and IV need a total of 3.

(As long as the player has the 2 kinds of ingredients, it doesn't matter which is 2 and which is 1.)

The numbers written on ingredient cards do not affect the win condition.
